Dried Salted Cod

From the far north of Norway our producers salt and dry splits of cod in perfect drying conditions. The North of Norway is one of the few places on earth where the air temperature and humidity is such that the fish can dry slowly with no spoilage, and still have just the right amount of moisture in the fish before shipping.

Dried Cod fish is popular all over the world, especially in Spain, Portugal and Brazil where they make their famous Bacalhau. Dried Cod has so many uses and may be served hot in a dish like Bacalhau, or cold in a salad. It can also be puréed to make a wonderful cracker spread.
